Following government guidelines Rochdale Borough Council have introduced a range of measures during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak to help protect the public and local businesses. Certain measures mean normal services have been affected with the closure of some facilities to help stop the spread of the virus.
Our role has been to help communicate any changes and messages of support to the general public in a clear and consistent adaptation of the main borough branding. The COVID-19 brand messaging and identity has evolved over the course of the last two months, with specific messaging targeting Child Services, Economy, Adult Services, Resources, Neighbourhoods and Public Health. Because of lockdown and the evolving nature of the outbreak, many of these communications have been delivered through digital media channels.
They don’t just carry out the work, they provide their expertise and suggestions which are very valuable and this definitely enhances the quality of our work. They pull out all the stops when something is urgent and they have an appreciation of the need for the public sector to get value for money.
