In 2014 Rochdale Borough Council launched an annual half marathon, 10k and fun run event suitable for both the serious runner and all the family. To launch the event we designed an identity that could be reproduced across a series of promotional marketing assets such as 48 sheet, 6 sheets, press advertising, outdoor banners, digital marketing, t-shirts and the race medal.
We produced a modern vibrant identity that's had the ability to be flexible and adaptable across a wide range of media. Now in its 6th year it is also a design that has stood the test of time becoming instantly recognisable across the borough. We're proud of the fact that this identity is associated with one of the highlights of the boroughs sporting calendar and helping to raise tens of thousands of pounds for local and national charities.
